On the first day of Navratri, a divine Kalas is decorated with coconut and mango leaves. This Kalas is placed in the pooja room as the symbol of the divine power of the goddess. This is called Kalash Sthapana or Ghatasthapana. Here are the list of puja samagri required for Ghatasthapana:
